Tongue scraping is used to prevent bad breath, remove toxins, plaque, bacteria and odour-causing substances that can coat the tongue.

Tongue scraping can be incorporated into your routine either before or after brushing your teeth. Grasp the two ends of the tongue scraper with both hands, extend your tongue, and gently place the scraper on the surface, reaching as far back as possible. Glide the scraper from the back to the front of your tongue as needed. Afterward, rinse both your mouth and the scraper.
